Jehovah Witness promotion of JW.org as the place to get answers to all of lifes important question is the height of arrogance
by Brokeback Watchtower inwe are hearing reports of this promotion of the website by the jw and it seems to be a resource for them to dodge questions of their faith, when they don't have or want to give an answer to a question they direct the house holder to the organization/corporation's website to get the answer as if it really existed.there.. i think soon they are going to drop the door to door work all together as completely unprofitable, i mean their donation arrangement is a complete flop and has cost them i'm sure so they are in the process of shipping as many as they can into building up real estate for the corporation, because that is where the money is right now.. the whole jw.org is just a complete failure as a source of good information and only scare away people except the most vulnerable/gullible.. .

If the Door to Door work isn't making profit for the Corporation it's the duty of it's CEO to make changes unless they are useless deluded fools(which may be true?). Eventually I think it will come to this as there are other way to put the brain dead drones to work that will make profits, Kingdom Hall building is one way to fleece the sheep for profits. -

Arrangement to Accelerate Building Kingdom Halls
by Socrateswannabe ini can't believe i'm the first one to admit going to this meeting.
it was a 3 hour video stream from patterson.
the first bit was used to set up the need.

When they start flipping all these kingdom halls is when the shit hits the fan. Only the most brain dead corporation lackeys will be loyal at that time as more and more kingdom halls get sold and people get shuffled around and have to travel farther and farther to fellowship the more meeting attendance will drop and the more donation will dry up.
Yeah these CEOs know what they are doing alright they are driving Jehovah chariotlike organization into oblivion and jehovah gonna get pissed when he gets the estimate for the repair of his priceless earthly driving machine.

"Why are we supposed to be happy when people are killed?" From a 10 year old
by stuckinarut2 ini was really overjoyed to hear a 10 year old in the hall say this the other day.
she was sitting behind us and whispered to her mum during the meeting:.
"so mummy, why are we supposed to be happy when jehovah kills people, including my friends at school?

Such innocence what a shame it is going to be corrupted by bunch Corporation CEOs into Listening Obeying and be Blessed(by Coporate standards) by not being disfellowshipped.
Anthony Morris seems to be heading up a move to capture these innocent youths minds into Corporation servitude as mindless lackeys for the Corporations slave labor crews.

Giving comments at meetings that cause cognitive dissonance while keeping yourself below elder radar for apostasy
by Brokeback Watchtower inwell i'm sure we can come up with clever comments that make people feel uncomfortable by serving to decompartmentalize things that have been compartmentalized in the thinking of the average jw.
or comments that make the cognitive dissonance stand out plainly, these have to be said in innocent manner and with an apparent obliviousness to the contradiction.

Of course CD will not effect everyone the same and some it might help start their exodus as the mind seeks to adjust some of the contradiction others it will have little or no effect because their ability to think for themselves has been seriously diminished. -

Comment someone gave on Today's Watchtower re: great tribulation
by cappytan in"we may get instructions that don't make sense or they may defy logic, but we must be obedient to the faithful slave if we want to survive.".
all i could think about was that these were the same kind of people that would have gulped down the kool aid at jonestown without hesitation.. pardon the language, but what the actual f**k?
even when i wasn't a doubter and bought in to the organization, it was always with a view to what was in line with scripture.

Yeah I went a little over board on it but tactfully given I'm sure one could get away with it, just change some of the syntax, omit certain words, or change wording to make it seem more innocent it takes an acquired skill to get some to feel a tinge of dissonance perhaps if only subconsciously. Little seeds of doubt that hopefully sprout. -

Compartmentalization is an unconscious psychological defense mechanism used to avoid cognitive dissonance, or the mental discomfort and anxiety caused by a person's having conflicting values, cognitions, emotions, beliefs, etc. within themselves.
Compartmentalization allows these conflicting ideas to co-exist by inhibiting direct or explicit acknowledgement and interaction between separate compartmentalized self states.[1]sss

How about raising hand and adding this to the comment:
Because of this scenario in the future the Governing Body is gearing us up towards absolute obedience even now perhaps by giving some orders which appear no practical such as the ban on higher education. This may seem impractical to some and some elders have been removed thus making way for the complete obedience that will be needed in the future.

American Sniper - courage or cowardice?
by Simon inthe movie american sniper is breaking box office records and of course there is some irony that a movie about a sniper is released on martin luther king day (who was shot by one).. but of course there is a world of difference between an assassin and a military sniper ... or is there?.
some are making a big stink about it and claiming that "snipers are cowards".
it seems unfair to me.

They have a saying:"All is fair in love and war" which in the big picture seems to be true. Hopefully one day we will adopt better means and ways to solve conflicts that match up with our increased technology.
I was drawn into the PTSD that was being portrayed in the flick and could relate to it as my father suffered from violent out burst which no doubt was caused by PTSD when I was growing up. Anyway I wish they had spent more time with recovery of the PTSD in the film. War is a last resort option in my mind and all other means should be exhausted before using this option to solve issues. I think the possibility or potential is there but we will have to just wait and see but perhaps not in our lifetime but who knows.
